Lanzarote is situated just 79 miles off the coast of Africa and is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. The island is 37 miles (60km) long and 12 miles (20 km) wide, making it the fourth largest island in the Canaries.
Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21°C in January to 29°C in August. Annual rainfall is just 140mm (5.5 inches). This makes Lanzarote the perfect year-round destination.
As with the other Canary Islands, Lanzarote is Volcanic in origin.
Lanzarote has several beautiful white beaches such as at Playa Blanca and Papagayo.
The El Nido complex comprises of 25 luxury villas which have access to a shared swimming pool.
Located in "Los Colorados" a quiet residential area of Playa Blanca,
Lanzarote, El-Nido is superbly placed close to the beautiful beaches of
Papagayo. There are a number of bars and "up market" restaurants within easy
walking distance. A leisurely 20 minutes stroll along the coastline
promenade towards Playa Blanca centre is the fabulous Marina Rubicon, host
to 600 boat moorings and an array of designer shops, restaurants and bars.
Continuing along the promenade for a further 20 minutes and you are in the
centre of Playa Blanca.
